November? Was that really the last time I posted? I’m genuinely shocked how quickly time has flown by this year.
On a more positive note, however, 2017 hasn’t been all completely “hobbyless” for old Boncruncha… Not at all. In fact, things started out relatively productive on the painting front – at least by my poultry standards – and I managed to put the finishing touches to several units which were clogging up my workspace.
If I’m being totally honest with myself, I would have liked to have had more to show by now, but with moving house recently my mojo for painting pretty much upped and left. It doesn’t take much, as you should all know!
Now that I’m moved in, happy, and settled into my new pad, I thought it was about time I applied myself towards tackling the mountain of models on my desk that are so desperately in need of some colour, as well as updating Slow And Purposeful more frequently.
To make life easier for myself, I’ve downloaded the WordPress app to my mobile phone, which in theory should make blogging far simpler, and I won’t have to use my old, donkey of a laptop to update my progress. Trust me, you wouldn’t believe how painful using that laptop was at times!
Before I go, I’ll leave you with some images of my most recent projects – a Pariah Conflux of cursed Flayed Ones and Wraiths, which I used to great effect in a kill teams tournament earlier this year, and, of course, a Plague Lord for Warhammer Quest (which, sadly, I’ve yet to use in a game).
As always, let me know what you think in the comments section below, and thanks for reading,
